New coffeehouse, new coffee: something called a “split macchiato.” Not a huge fab of the straight espresso (offscreen), but the foamed milk part is delightful. Here’s to trying something new on Tuesday, lovelies! ✨☕️❣️
A last date night before picking up our daughter at the airport, after she spent a week away with her class at @heiferinternational’s Global Village. I have to admit, after this morning’s news at Santa Fe High School south of Houston, I’m feeling especially anxious to hold her after days away. Related: I’m so damned tired of reading stories of children being shot to death. SO damned tired.
I love that something this prickly is also called a “succulent.” #goals🌵✨💦
So overwhelmed by all the love you gave Alex on the previous post - thank you so much! She’s just one of my favourite people in the whole world, and I love that you see why. Today has been about breakfast in bed, thoughtful little gifts and lazy mornings - perfect. Happy Mother’s Day to all who mother and care for others. May you all feel well-cared-for today, too.
