Surrounded by papers and pens and documents , trying to juggle getting my own work done, with getting us back in our own home again. Marcus met with a contractor who we’ve worked with in the past for a potential bid, and after surveying the structural damage we found (and pointing out some damage that we missed), he agreed: it was time to tear it down. So we’re about to wade into the world of banks and permitting requirements - and we’ll gratefully accept any smooth-process-juju you can send our way! (An aside: a moment of gratitude for our sweet landlords for allowing us to rent their gorgeous garage apartment as we scramble to get this process going as quickly as possible. It’s perfect, for reasons not the least of which is due to their epic coffee mug collection the space came stocked with. 💕) ✨
