this was a good week
This was a good week! Here's why:
• Actually, it was a quiet week. Alex had her first appointment at my dentist (as opposed to a pediatric dentist), and it went great. She also began volleyball practice for the new season. And Marcus told me that his high school nickname back in England was "Boney M." (This last one is what made the week particularly amusing.)
• My friend Jessica Turner just launched a video series about how working moms thrive -- and I was thrilled to be a guest, along with some of my very favourite people in real-life.. Click here to listen to them all -- tons of wisdom here!
• I also was honoured to be featured on my friend Jessica Murnane's podcast, all about losing everything, and the power of connection. Please click here to take a listen -- this was so much fun.
• Beautiful images of Nigerian hair culture. Glorious.
