This was a good week, lovelies! Here’s why:

• I’ve been working on a big project for the last 3 months, and this week I finally presented it, and it went well. Huge relief and gratitude over here!

• Oh sweet Mary Margaret, I’m making this over the weekend.

• I’ve been charmed by the work of chalk artist David Zinn for some time now, and this little video will show you why.

• Every year on his birthday, my photographer friend Justin takes as many self-portraits as there are years In his age. I look forward to seeing them every year, and this year didn’t disappoint. Happy birthday, Justin!

These portraits, that look like photographs shot through bubble wrap, are oil paintings. What?!

It took 14 years to find Satoshi. Isn’t that a cool game? I kind of want to start something similar.

• And finally, for today’s soundtrack: I just finished watching One Night in Miami, and it was really wonderful. In it, Leslie Odom Jr plays Sam Cooke, and the movie ends with him singing Sam Cooke’s activism anthem, “A Change is Gonna Come.” As expected, it’s breathtaking.

Have a wonderful weekend, friends.
