alex's life book

  • In early 2006, I began creating a life book for my daughter, Alex. Click here for links to articles describing my experience.
  • And for those of you who are more digitally inclined, in late 2006, I recreated key pages of Alex's lifebook for an article I wrote for AlphaMom, using Scrapblog.

You can see the final digital result (and leave comments, if you'd like!) here.

anyone? anyone?

This morning, on my run, a tiny lizard running on its hind legs crossed my path.

Anyone know what kind of tropical lizard that could have been? Because I'm guessing "baby velociraptor" isn't right.

Did it speak with a British accent? If so, I think you just spotted the lizard dude from Geico. Or I guess that's a gecho. Whatever. :-)

Perhaps it was just a Geico ad.

I'll go with the Gieco. Is your insurance up to date?

maybe it is a evolving lizard species and you can be famous for discovering it?

In northern Wisconsin, it would be a skenk (sp?)

No idea about Caribbean Islands, though.

Hmmm....those guys (or their cousins) run around in Costa Rica, too, and I don't know what they're called, but they sure are cute. It wasn't a Jesus Christ lizard, was it?
