alex's life book

  • In early 2006, I began creating a life book for my daughter, Alex. Click here for links to articles describing my experience.
  • And for those of you who are more digitally inclined, in late 2006, I recreated key pages of Alex's lifebook for an article I wrote for AlphaMom, using Scrapblog.

You can see the final digital result (and leave comments, if you'd like!) here.

one child and one mummy left behind

This evening, Marcus took his friend Nathan to Tobago, so that the two of them could enjoy the sand and surf for a few days. They are, therefore, leaving me alone with this face...

The one with both hands on her cheeks, makes me feel a lil sad. I say, play some Bob Marley mama :)

yeah, good luck with all that. how will you manage?

I think these are some of my favorite photos of Alex, though I love them all! It's nice to see a little more of her mellow, thoughful side. :)

She's a bowl full of joy in those pictures. And I'm not one to use the phrase "Bowl full of joy" often. :-)

I love her perfect little teeth.

The smiles? SLAY me. Really.

She is one beautiful little creature.

I can't say I'd mind much, either.

I have to tell you that when I first read your title (on another blog), I was thinking mummy as in "mummy"--I thought this was going to be a Halloween post. Ha Ha! Your daughter is way too cute, and she has a nice mummy (I'm still laughing).
