The reason that the year-planning mom had an article written about her is because her behavior is very odd indeed.
I was going to say "freakish" but that seemed kind of mean.
loved the MacGyver reference! i call it "look and cook"
that is: look in the fridge, cook what's there (and i try to make sure that what's there has variety and as much in-season stuff as possible)
maybe i'll add a match to the mix... or twine... or duct tape for fibre
