Being a rabid PBS fan, there was no way I was going to turn down the opportunity.

I was thrilled to be a faculty member at the biennial Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. The workshop is designed for humour and human interest writers.

I joined amazing copanelists Bryan Mason, Jason Shellen and LoriMcLeese for a rousing panel on "8 Ways to Deal With Bastards" at the SXSW Interactive conference on March 12, 2010 in Austin, Texas. My copanelists are some pretty impressive folks, the kind who make you realize you're learning a lot just being in their airspace. But more importantly, the funny, man -- they know how to bring the funny. It was a such good time.

I had such a great time at the Mom 2.0 Summit, February 18 - 20, 2010 at The Four Seasons Hotel in Houston, Texas. In addition to speaking on a panel with the fabulous Rob Morhaim of Deca.TV, Rebecca Woolf and Leah Peterson, I was able to photograph some of the most beautiful faces online.
