Every time I travel, I tend to choose one alcoholic beverage as my go-to for celebration. In Paris, it's kir (or, occasionally, kir royale). In Aruba, mojito was my jam. Here in St. Martin? Caipirinha all the way, baby.

As we say in Trinidad, "we reach." Hello from St. Martin, friends. This photograph might be the most active I'll be all week.

Over the last three weeks, I've been doing a ... testing protocol, let's call it, experimenting with how my body reacts to various foods. I won't tell you what it's called, because I'm not entirely sure I'd recommend it - it's a total pain in the ass as far as preparation, and there are probably easier ones out there. (No way I would've done this if I didn't work at home.) The changes I've seen are subtle, but undeniable- my skin feels better, I feel more confident. And I've learned I need to eat more, that how I exercise is fine, I should get out in nature more, and I know my body best. Body intuition for the win!
