Fifteen minutes into my hike this morning, I had already encountered four different languages, and countless different ages, races and even abilities. And they all said good morning to me as they passed. And that’s why I’ll always defend Houston. Because despite its (many) problems, you will not find a more friendly, more cosmopolitan city in the United States. Fight me.

Did about 4 miles this morning. It had been far too long - I forgot how head-clearing sweating in nature can be.
New coffeehouse, new coffee: something called a “split macchiato.” Not a huge fab of the straight espresso (offscreen), but the foamed milk part is delightful. Here’s to trying something new on Tuesday, lovelies! ✨☕️❣️
