In February 2010, I decided to put together a life list: 100 things I want to do before I go. Number 67 on the list is "take a hot air balloon ride." On June 25, 2010, in Park City, Utah, I finally screwed up the courage to make it happen -- and thanks to Nikon and their awesome 10-24mm wide-angle lens, I got some amazing shots). Xanthe Berkeley is one of my favourite online photographers, and recently, she wrapped up a 52-week self portrait project. She wrote about the experience here. I loved how she mentioned that the journey is about "learning ... who you are and how you see yourself."

In February 2010, I decided to put together a life list: 100 things I want to do before I go. Number 64 on the list is "grow a flower from a seed" - because historically, I'm a rampant plant-killer. Here's the evidence that this might all be behind me. If this all works, the resulting flowers will be foxgloves and zinnias.
Update: As you can see, the zinnias worked a treat. The foxgloves ... not so much.
