Thank you for the beautiful picture. This one brightened my day.
Beautiful. Lantana, right? It's one of my favorite flowers.
Hello Mz. doo doo darling (now i know that recognize this address; it carries the similar warmth of "chookooloonks".) I came upon your site a few days ago and have been peeking back now and again - really neat stuff! keep up the good work. . . you must make the sisters at the convent proud (ha ha ha - i guess you went to one of the convents in T&T).
Anyway - great weekend to you!
Ahhh! That time of day for my favorite blog. I open this, already posed to go grab a 2nd helping of pizza when I noticed it had already loaded and from my lips came a smile and little sigh from my spirit. Beautiful. I was walking in one of our town's unique urban forests last week and saw a spray of orchid-colored wild flowers high up on a stem in the thickets of the meadow through which I was cutting a path (pre-cut) to the top of a hill. I had my camera with me and did a quick shoot. But my first thought was of you. Wonder how Karen would shoot this?. Part of the reason I love your photographs are they are so often shots of the ordinary. But...the way you shoot them is anything but ordinary. Thanks for once again for bringing a spot of sunshine to my work-weary soul. Namaste,
