I LOVED reading what inspires you all yesterday -- I feel like you've given me a whole new list of places to look for inspiration! So thanks so much for participating in yesterday's post. I love your enthusiasm.
And now to business: according to Random.org, the winner of the second signed copy of The Beauty of Different is Cindy Gordon, who said, "I am inspired by being surrounded by people - an extrovert from birth, when I have a room full of students, I'm chatting with my colleagues, fun time with friends and family, an uninterrupted period of casual chatter with my husband - the energy of people combined with the energy created by the interaction feed my soul." Congratulations, Cindy! I'll contact you via email to get your mailing information!
But we're not done yet -- oh no. We're giving away another signed copy of the book today! So taking some inspiration from Lincoln, above, to enter for a chance to win the book, simply leave a comment telling me what you're really good at. Are you great at playing a Chopin nocturne? Or maybe you're a virtuoso at making the perfect grilled cheese sandwich? Whatever it is, share it with me below, and I'll pick one commenter at random to received a signed copy of the book, announced in tomorrow's post.
And as in previous days, I have some sweet friends who are also running giveaways of the book on their site -- like the ever charming Rachel, of A Southern Fairytale, for instance! So after you leave your comment here, be sure to leave a comment with her, as well. And of course, if I hear of any other lovely bloggers hosting similar giveaways today, I'll link to them, too.
Good luck, friends. (Also -- for those of you who are driving distance to Houston -- don't forget the official book launch is TOMORROW NIGHT! More information here -- I can't wait to meet you.)
UPDATE: Another giveaway! Scrapbooker extraordinaire Ali Edwards is also doing a giveaway of The Beauty of Different on her blog -- so be sure to leave a comment here to enter. (And if you're not familiar with Ali, be sure to click over to the Beauty of Different blog, where she's sharing her thoughts on creativity today!)
