big news: GLOW, my brand-new ecourse for claiming your light, is now open for pre-registration!
This week is a busy week here at Chookooloonks HQ. In the morning, I head out to Orlando to attend the amazing Mom 2.0 Summit (one of my favourite conferences, hands down). Tomorrow afternoon, I'll be moderating a panel, featuring award-winning and New York Times bestselling author Nicola Yoon, who wrote the beautiful Everything, Everything; and Ana de le Reguera, the talented actress who plays Carla in the motion picture of the movie, released May 19th. I can't tell you how excited I am about this -- Alex and I absolutely devoured the book -- so if you're going to be at the conference, I hope you'll join us.
(And speaking of Alex, I'm actually going to be leaving the conference a day early, because Friday Alex will be attending her first school dance, and I want to get back in time to help her get ready, and take pictures. I know. I know.)
But even more exciting news: it's been over two years since I've had an online course (remember Pathfinder?), and I'm thrilled to announce that I'm putting final touches on my brand new 21-day ecourse, GLOW! Here's the description from the course page:
GLOW is all about encouraging you along your own path of self-discovery. It's about appreciating the experiences you've had, identifying your passions and your loves, and committing to using your gifts to help change your world. GLOW is about thriving out loud.
Every day I'll send you journaling prompts, exercises, and food for thought directly to your inbox, to help you to see and develop and create your own path forward toward a more fulfilling life. I'm a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, so for part of our journey together, we'll dive into the research of Brené Brown, learning more about empathy, courage and vulnerability. The exercises you receive will invite you to tap into your inner creative and invite you to write, journal, doodle and even photograph your thoughts, to help provide you more insight into how your spirit ticks.
In GLOW, we'll:
- review the good things that have happened in your past, recalling events and activities and opportunities you've already had to shine, and how you used your gifts to make those events happen;
- discuss vulnerability and courage, and talk about practices that we can cultivate to live fuller, happier lives; and
- identify our values and name what we want to stand for, and plan how we're going to use these gifts and our values to change our worlds around us.
Have an amazing week, friends. See you soon.
