#goaustralia: dive the great barrier reef? not this time
Checking in again from beautiful Australia! I mentioned earlier that the Go Mighty folks weren't able to book a dive on the Great Barrier Reef for me, and sadly, I wasn't able to make it happen when I got here either. But today, we did go snorkeling, on a small reef on a tiny island just on the end of the Great Barrier Reef. As always, I'm sharing my iPad shots and my thoughts over at the Go MIghty site. Please click over and take a look/have a listen!
I'm also taking tons of photographs on my big camera to share with you guys when I get back -- I can't wait to process them. In the meantime, however, remember that you can follow along with my iPad shots real time, by checking out Facebook, Twitter or Instagram -- tons of images are going up over there, including some that I haven't shared on the Go Mighty site. So please stay in touch -- it's lovely hearing from you while I'm traveling.
(Also, in other news, before I left Houston the awesome folks at Impressed interviewed me about using photography to tell stories. Click over to take a look!)
As ever, more very soon, friends.
Huge thanks to Tourism Australia, Air New Zealand and Go Mighty for making this adventure possible. If a trip Down Under is a dream you've had, please be sure to check out the Tourism Australia site for all sorts of juicy information about Australia; in addition, Tourism Australia, Air New Zealand and Go Mighty are running two additional campaigns to help make your dream come true in 2014: the first, Fill-A-Plane, where you can sign up to be one of 322 people to get a special discount on air travel for folks who take the pledge to travel to Australia next year; the second, "Win a Wild Card ticket to Australia," for a chance to win a trip to Australia, by simply becoming a member of Go Mighty and adding your wildest Australia-based dreams.
