I often say that I'm wildly convinced that everyone is beautiful, and my evidence for the statement is that I've never taken a photograph of anyone, in the 20 years I've been shooting, where I didn't truly believe that about the subject of my photograph.

Yesterday, one of the participants of my #adventoflight journaling course shared the following video with me, created by a high school student in Chicago.  I have to admit that first I had to get over a fleeting pang of jealousy that I didn't come up with the idea of doing this video myself (such a great idea!), but man, I am so blown away about how much it absolutely captures my belief in the beauty of everyone.
