this was a good week
This was a good week! Here’s why:
• I grew tomato sprouts! (The trick will be to keep them alive!) Also, I celebrated the amazing career dreams of two dear friends, and after a week of record highs, a cool front has moved back to Houston — I may even light the fire again today. Yes.
• Speaking of cold weather: I love this ingenious invention that helps cold commuters warm up, and get a scarf in the process!
• Did you know that back in the old days, roller skaters at roller rinks use to skate to live organ music? And — get this — at one rink, they still do!
• And finally, for today’s soundtrack, I’m digging the bossa nova vibe of the Black Eyed Peas new single, 4EVER. Click the arrow below to listen.
