this was a good week
This was a good week! Here’s why:
• The weather has been beautiful, which is good, because Alex has been away counseling at a sleepaway camp all week. (She texted “it’s hard work, but worth it,” so I’m counting that as a win.) Marcus and I had a bunch of date nights this week as a result, but we’re also excited to get her back home tomorrow. All great.
• And finally, for the soundtrack, this amazing performance of “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” performed by Billy Porter during a commercial break at the Tonys. We don’t deserve Billy Porter, man. He is made of pure sunshine.
