now *that's* cold

You know it's cold when the penguin exhibit at the local bird sanctuary isn't in a refrigerated quonset hut like it would be in the rest of the world, but merely in an outdoor, open-air, fenced-in area that allows you to get so close to the penguins you could reach out and touch them, if only you weren't afraid they might mistake your frozen finger for a herring.
