By the time you read this this, I will be hunkered down in an undisclosed location, hopefully slaving away on the books. I'll return to my regularly scheduled posting on Wednesday (and with luck, share some pictures of this beautiful spot), but in the meantime, I was wondering if perhaps you could help me with a bit of research:
For one of my books, I'm going to be including some quotations, adages and sayings that I think are pretty powerful. Do you have any that are particularly meaningful to you? I'd love if you'd share them here -- extra points if they're common to your culture or country, or require translation to convey the meaning.
