we interrupt through-the-viewfinder for ... the jonas brothers!

WELL.

As I type this, Alex is passed out in her bed, no doubt with a blissful smile on her face, and an incredibly hoarse voice.  Words cannot describe how much fun this kid had. After a day at the rodeo, we found our way to our seats -- seats situated so high in Reliant Stadium, they came with their own oxygen tanks.  Seriously, I think Marcus is still recovering from altitude sickness.  It took forever for the Jonas Brothers to come on stage, but honey, when they did, Alex plum LOST. HER. MIND.  That kid shrieked her fool head off.  She swayed to the ballads.  She bobbed her head to every song she knew.  And she had a grin on her face as big as all of Texas.

We left way before the 3:45 p.m. concert was finished (after all, the child is only 5, it's a school night, and her bedtime is 7), but she totally had a blast.  And even though I'm not a fan of the rodeo, and the Jonas Brothers aren't my thing, watching her enjoy herself made this one of the best days of my life.

So, I hope you'll indulge me: the following are a few more shots I took (thanks to an extremely long 70-200mm lens).  These are for Alex to see when she wakes up in the morning.
