nablopomo day 12: retail therapy

"Hi, can I help you?"

"I don't think so.  I'm just looking."

"Okay, that's fine.  Are you looking for anything in particular?"

"No... well ... actually, okay, yes.  I bought a scarf from you guys about a year ago, and I live in it.  I thought I'd buy another one in a different colour.  Wait ... I think I see them."

"Oh, yes, those are our most popular scarves.  As soon as they come in, they're out the door.  You're lucky."

"I guess so!  But the truth is, I really don't need this scarf.  I'm actually in a pretty foul mood.  I just thought I'd come look, and buy one just to cheer myself up."

"Ah, yes, the Bad Mood Purchase.  Sometimes, honey, you just have to shop that bitch out."
