#40daysoflight: redbuds!

In addition to the azaleas, the redbuds are in full bloom around town, and I'm here for it. These trees are so intriguing to me, because they always bloom before their leaves appear -- they just look like bare branches, save for these wonderfully showy little blossoms.

I'm sure that's a metaphor for life, but I'm not smart enough to think of it right now.
