the beautiful people

Alex has been taking guitar lessons for over five years now, and she’s very good — but she tends to practice quietly in her room, on her acoustic guitar. Other than her weekly guitar lessons, I rarely hear her play (and even then, I’m usually in another room working during her lessons).

This morning, however, on a whim, she grabbed her electric guitar, cranked her amp way up, and started playing Marilyn Manson’s The Beautiful People.

And I gotta say, I was here for it.
