there was good in this week (36/100)

I’m not going to lie — the headlines this week got me down. But there was still a bit of good in this week:

• It was a week of good news, big decisions, and surprise flowers from one of my dearest friends. There’s still much to be grateful for in my life.

• This beautiful site allows you to see the world through other people’s windows. It’s such a simple way to evoke empathy. And God knows the world needs more empathy.

• Amazing how much kindness you can create with a piece of chalk.

• This Vanity Fair feature of activists and leaders is just wonderful.

• And this week’s soundtrack: a ten-year-old version of John Lennon’s Imagine, as performed by Herbie Hancock and friends. Click here or the image below to watch and listen.

Have a great weekend, friends.
