this was a good week
This was a good week! Here's why:
• It was an intense week here at Chookooloonks headquarters (all good, never fear), but no worries -- there's always tea.
• CNN sent 20 disposable cameras to mothers around the world, and published the results. Love how it's all so familiar.
• What if art history icons were hipsters? They'd fit in just fine, thankyouverymuch.
• And while we're on the subject of art, some enterprising person with Faceapp took care of those sombre faces we're all used to seeing in museums. There. All fixed.
• And this photographer photographs entire movies on an ultra-long exposure, and they become art. Gorgeous.
• This time lapse video of clouds being trapped inside the Grand Canyon. My heavens, but what a beautiful planet this is.
• Finally, the soundtrack of today: Chris Cornell doing a cover of Prince's Nothing Compares 2 U. Rest in peace, Chris. I assume you and Prince are making some beautiful music together, wherever you are.
