this was a good week

This was a good week!  Here's why:

•  It's Friday the 13th (my lucky day!),  I had an incredible time at the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop, and we finally met our general contractor for our home and he seems like a straight-shooter.  Progress.

• Card juggling.  I may have found a new life list item.

•  Life list item number 2:  fly with geese!

•  Turning trash into treasure.

•  I think peeking into someone's sketchbooks might be my favourite thing to do for inspiration -- so the zillion sketchbook tours on this page is a delight.

•  The women of SNL sharing who makes them break character and laugh.  Love this.

•  I love this video about a nonprofit organization that is helping the homeless in Austin.  So great.

•  And finally, for today's soundtrack, this new video for A Good Night by John Legend.  It's a great easy-house-party song, has a total 90s feel, and the video is decidedly 21st century.
