this was a good week
This was a good week. Here’s why:
• There were a lot of good things that happened this week, I had two wonderful chais at a great coffeehouse that helps fight human trafficking, and a good friend flies in today to spend the weekend with our family.
• Do you think in full sentences? Or in images? I was surprised to learn that some people don’t think in sentences — my brain won’t shut up!
• I love this artist’s images that show what Van Gogh’s life might have been like.
• Speaking of what lives might have been like, I love these images of what these famous people might have actually looked like.
• This artist suffered a stroke, and he kept a daily sketch diary as part of his recovery. His wife shares them here, and they’re so inspiring.
• Wouldn’t it be cool to come across these stone arrangements on the beach?
• And finally, for today’s soundtrack: I’m really digging this acoustic cover of Elton John’s Your Song, featuring Kenton Chen. It’s just so incredibly sweet.
