As I type this, it's late on Saturday night. The last of our houseguests have just left, and our house looks like a bomb went off. Also, I hardly took any pictures at all today, and I really need to get out of my office and back into the kitchen (and living room, and dining room, and breakfast room, and back patio...) and help Marcus clean up. So instead of new photos, I've gone through my archives of the past couple of weeks of December, and picked some favourites that didn't get previously published. I hope you don't mind.

Gracious, i'm not always that lucid apres company and avant clean-up. And i definitely wouldn't have been posting pictures then.
So, I am all the more grateful for the cheer you have shared with us every day. Your views of the celebrations Chez Chookooloonks are lovely, and you have inspired me to just keep the camera out (with my lovely fast 50mm attached) and slow down to capture some of those moments as they go by, not snapshots, but thoughtfully composed pauses in the revelry.
