« love thursday: home »

Anthuriums are flowers that, for some reason, I associate exclusively with Trinidad. I know they're a tropical flower, and therefore logically found all of the Caribbean and South America; however, this doesn't matter: the heart-shaped petals always remind me of home.
They were a comforting sight in Puerto Rico.
Happy Love Thursday, everyone. May we all take a moment to think of the place we call home today.

I have always wanted to visited Puerto Rico, I am a huge fan of anywhere tropical, beautiful flower and fantastic picture. My Love Thursday post
it matters
Happy Love Thursday!
Loved the first grade images, my girl started 1st grade this year, it's a fun age, do doubt!
This is very apt ... after three years spent abroad, I came home last night. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that yet but there's something very reassuring about being surrounded by familiar things.
They are very sensual as well!
Home is where ever Chris is. Happy Love Thursday!

For me, home is where I am most comfortable. The sight of bluebonnets and sunflowers bring me that same sense of calm as the tropical flowers do for you.
My Love Thursday is here, about the first day of school http://elzabelz.blogspot.com/2010/08/love-thursday-first-day-mommy-love.html
Hello, I visit your blog for the very first time, and I enoy the picture of the beautiful flower you have made. I just recieved a message from my husband from...yes, Trinidad(!!) only 10 minutes ago! He travels aroud the world for work, and I am 'home' for him, while he is far away most of the time! Isn't it beautiful? I hope you understand my English, because it is not my native language. Greetings from Holland, from Stefanie (Pamela's sister-in-law).
Beautiful! Happy Love Thursday!
Hello, I could be wrong, but I think that there were one or two companies here trying to export them in the late 70's, early 80's. And yes, it does seem as if they are everywhere here, can't think of a single private garden that I have visited without at least one variety. And they are really popular with the hotels and restaurants, something to do with the fact that they are pretty sturdy and don't fade/wilt/decompose quickly so they are an easy choice for arrangements.
Anthuriums are great for church flower arrangements too..♥
Vibrant.
Very, very pretty.
Home is a wonderful word.
