Around the time I decided to redesign Chookooloonks, one of my goals for myself (as reflected in my mission statement) was to create tools to help people see the beauty in their own lives. I had always been interested in developing a series of ebooks -- short guides that share everything from life lessons to photography tips to hints on how to blog better. But for various reasons, I had never gotten around to it.
Until last week.
I'm thrilled to announce that the first of what I hope will become many ebook offerings is now available in the shop! Field Notes came from an idea that was sparked while preparing for my TEDxHouston talk -- I realized that I was encouraging people to "look for the light," but I hadn't necessarily shared how to do it, especially when it came to finding the beauty in their own lives. Field Notes compiles all the observations and activities that I've incorporated into my routine, to help curate a life with a whole lot more awesome, and see the light in my life more easily. And, of course, this downloadable pdf contains tons of my favourite photographs, as well.
As an introduction, I'm offering the digital download, Field Notes, for US$ 6.50, almost 40% off the regular price of US$ 9.50, until Friday, August 2, 2013. I hope you enjoy it. And stay tuned for lots more to come, spanning photography and business, as well as general life issues.
As always, thanks so much for supporting my work, friends. I hope you enjoy this new chapter of my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
