i think i've developed a new decorating style. i call it "bohemian crazy."

I've been on a bit of a nesting jag, lately.  The kitchen, I believe, is now finished, capped off by shelf that I painted!  All by myself!  Me! Refinishing a shelf!  I'm on a roll!

Then a few days ago (during a fit of looking for something else to refinish), I took a picture of our family room, and realized that the walls were the exact same colour as the couches. It was like we were living in the belly of taupe.

So, on a whim, I decided that the walls needed to be painted. So far, as you can see above, we have the primer on the walls. I'm hoping against hope that real paint will go on far less streaky than the primer.

Once we're through, I'll post a photo of the finished product (because I can't have you believing that we actually live in this kind of chaos).  Right now, Marcus is taking a break on his bike while we wait for the primer to dry.  But as soon as it's dry, we're back to it, baby!  We're getting this done tonight, or die trying!

You can imagine how Marcus loves my whims.
