random thoughts: giving

I love giving gifts.  I mean, I really love giving gifts.  I love giving gifts so much, I feel guilty that I'm possibly getting more enjoyment out of the gift-giving than the recipient of my gift is, which feels a bit self-serving, right?  And then I think, well, perhaps I shouldn't give any gifts if I'm doing it just to feel good about giving, but then I think that's stupid, because what's a world where gifts aren't given?  No world I want to be in, that's for sure.

And then I think maybe I should switch to decaf.
